Recap of my recent exhibition during @dutchdesignweek at @designperron with fellow graduates.

I'm incredibly thankful for having been a part of this and for being able to share my work with so many people. I had a lot of inspiring conversations that led me to reflect more deeply on my work. It reminded me that my work doesn’t only serve myself, it can also leave an impact on others. It's quite fascinating to see how sharing something personal can create space for connection.

I’ve learned a lot and am filled with excitement to start a new chapter, letting this one evolve and become the foundation for something bigger. More info soon.

My graduation project 'Where Have I Been Hiding?' explores experiencing loneliness in the presence of others and the longing for human connection: wanting to remain invisible, while simultaneously longing to be seen. Through repeatedly pressing photos of loved ones and my surroundings onto curtains, until the ink fades, I give shape to this fragile space between presence and disappearance: the space to rediscover my authentic self.

Thrilled to announce I'll be showing my work "Where Have I Been Hiding?" during the @dutchdesignweek this year at @designperron !

My graduation project 'Where Have I Been Hiding?' explores experiencing loneliness in the presence of others and the longing for human connection: wanting to remain invisible, while simultaneously longing to be seen. By pressing photos of loved ones and internal reflections on delicate materials like thin curtains and mirrors, I give shape to this fragile space between presence and disappearance: the space to rediscover my authentic self.

My graduation project ‘Where Have I Been Hiding?’ is a reflection of the process of finding the way back to myself, after having lost my sense of self; an exploration of experiences with loneliness and longing for human connection.

My aim for this shoot was to capture the process of getting to know and expressing our inner world. Exploring the often hidden layers of our minds and learning how to befriend them can be a challenge. We won't always like what we find, but we'll have to work with it regardless. What can we learn from watching our thoughts? Observing recurring patterns, we learn to shape our experience with intention.
